TERRARIUM CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All assembly required on all terrariums. I provide jar, soil, live moss, a crystal, a piece of bark OR a small pinecone, and a hand-made polymer clay ornament.
Make your environment come to life!Terrariums include assembly instructions.
How to care for your terrarium:Place in indirect light. If it gets too hot it will whither and die, if it gets too little it can grow fungus.
Spray the top of your moss to keep it wet; approximately once or twice a week. If you do not have a spray bottle, sprinkle water over the top with your fingers. Do not over water the moss, doing so will create fungus.
"Burp" (open the top of the jar to release the moisture) your terrarium at least once a week. This allows fresh air to get in.
You may notice moisture has collected on the inside of the jar when you haven't even watered it! That's the magic of terrariums; they water themselves! But it's nice that we help them along ;)
The heat from the sun in the jar creates condensation that collects on the inside of the glass, then the water droplets fall onto the moss giving back the moisture it released into air. Simply amazing!
